Morgan and Sophie in the Pool

Morgan wanted Sophie to be an avid swimmer day 1. :) I bought a stationary swim trainer and it is awesome. It loops around a little pole and you strap it to your feet (you can see the black straps in the picture). I enjoyed it today and can't wait to use it more.

This is the opening screen for get well network. We love it! You can pick the theater to watch movies or tv, the hospital to learn about hospital or treatments, and the food place to get menus and food info. The roller coaster gets you to games. All of this on a big screen in the room with a keyboard and built in mouse!

Matthew Paints

Today, Matthew came and painted two bathrooms and chris's room/my office. He has done a lot of painting at the house. I wasn't sure about this blue and was nervous about how it would look compared to the little sample, but I like it. Mike said it is Carolina blue for sure. I guess it is, but I like to think it is sky blue. :) thanks Matthew!

Alligator Season

Today was  a werid day. It started out as a typical stressful day. The kids have FCAT testing (florida state test) this week and today was day 2 of Reading. Work was crazy an to add to it the internet was going down, I couldn't print or fax, my presentation wasn't finished,  and I had to finish packing for my trip. I survived somehow and made it to the airport with a few minutes to spare. It was weird landing in Raleigh after so long. The C terminal is much nicer than I remember. The North Hills area is unbelievable compared to when I lived here. Almost weird - we ate at a french restuarant for dinner. Not what I remember of Raleigh. :)

It is alligator season in Florida. Here is a picture from one of the lakes by our house. This is the picture of the day. :)

Back to Blogging

Ok, I guess I needed to let something go during so much stress, so blogging was it. However, I have really missed it. So, I am going to pledge to hit 30 days in a row of blogging to get back on track. :)

We just moved into a new house so it has been pretty hectic. We are getting closer to being settled and we are starting to have some box-free rooms. I am ready to have it over, be able to park in the garage (both cars for the first time in 6 years!), have pictures hung, and have all the phones working! :) We are really liking the new house though.

I have seen a friend doing a picture of the day on Facebook, and I really enjoy it. So, I am going to start a picture of the day as it might give me something to blog about on days that I am stuck. :) Today's picture is an ode to my old closet. This room was about 12X12. I have to say that I took it for granted after a while, and I am missing it as I try to find places for 9,000 pieces of luggage, shoes, old pictures, etc. We never had a problem storing anything in the old closet. :) Bye awesome closet...I will miss you.
